Parties in Marbella for 16 year-olds?

My family has houses in Marbella and Im coming for the summer with friends. I don't want to die of boredom so was wondering about parties for 16-year-olds that are just as fun as British one, like big house parties etc?

This summer me and my friend are going to Marbella for 2 weeks. My friend and I are staying in the Old Quater of Marbella. Are there any delicious restaurants, fun clubs, fun beaches, and architectural sites that would be fun to see? If you send a list, also add the address of each of the places. If possible could they be close to the area, we don't really want to walk for an hour to places. I was also wondering if they check ID in bars or clubs? Thanks!

I heard that there is a place called Cuvee in the port that caters to teenagers, although I can´t find any information online about teenage parties specifically. You may want to call them or check out their website www.cuveebanus.com. The number is 646 608 824 and the address is Avenida de la Rivera.

Mansion is no longer Mango´s Tropical Disco. It changed to something else and I just saw it being renovated the other day into something even newer. I don´t know if this is still a teen club, but will ask around and try to find out for you.

Mansion in Marbella is now called Mango's Tropical Disco. It will be closed until Semana Santa (Easter - end of March to April) by the way. It has new partners, those involved in Funky Buddha and Seven. Once it nears opening i'll find out more on whether they will offer underage nights.

Here is some more information that we recently received from Princess Studios.

Summer Workshops at Princess Studios

We are delighted to confirm the following exciting line up for the summer holidays:

'High School Musical' For boys & girls aged 5 - 9
Dates: Kicks off Monday 28th June until Friday 2 July
(& further dates throughout July)

Times: 10am until 2pm
Price: 100 euros for the week (discount for siblings)

Curriculum: kids will learn scenes from the movie 'High School Musical' focusing on drama, music, dance & 'behind the scenes' (eg. make up).
Specialist instructors will teach each genre. Instructors include: Jennie, Marisa, Kirsten, Nico & Shaffik


'Glee Club' For boys & girls aged 10 +
Dates: Kicks off Monday 5th July until Friday 9th July (& further dates throughout July)

Times: 10.30am until 4.30pm
Price: 150 euros for the week (discount for siblings)
Curriculum: following the style of the hit TV show, 'Glee' students will be taught dance, drama & music & 'behind the scenes,' (make up, stunts etc.)
Specialist instructors for each genre. Instructors include: Jennie, Marisa, Nico, Kirsten & Shaffik

Our curriculum for the summer workshop is bigger & better than ever! Our workshops will focus on all aspects of the movie, TV & theatre industry including both in front of the camera & behind the scenes. Instead of one main instructor, we have created a top line up of specialist industry instructors, including:

Nico - Playstation commericals, Film Festival, 3rd in World Mens Shines Freestyle, El Barrio Musical, ESAD
Marisa - Saddlers Wells, London Palladium, World Latin Dance Championship
Shaffik - Cirque du Soleil, Cavalia
Jennie - Marbella Sharks cheerleaders, choreographer & instructor
Kirsten - Shepherd's Bush Empire, backing vocalist for songwriters for Kylie & Spillers Groovejet

With our team of specialist instructors the students will receive expert guidance in the arts of music, dance, drama, plus 'behind the scenes' instruction on make up, stunts etc.

The workshops will culminate in a performance to parents & friends.
Whether the students have previous performing arts experience or, they simply wish to spend fun-filled days learning new skills & making new friends our team of experienced professionals will create a positive environment to realize every student's full potential.

You might want to check out the nightclub Mansion on the Golden Mile in Marbella. They have teen nights that start a bit earlier and are geared for a younger crowd. I´m not sure about the days and times, but you can check out their website http://mansionmarbella.es/index.html for more information. They also have a Facebook page where you can post questions and see their latest events. Their Facebook page is Mansion Marbella.

We don´t know of any particular parties that you can attend uninvited, but we regularly post all types of events in our blog on a regular basis. The best thing is to try and make some local friends who can guide you to their parties and events.

You can try and make some friends at some of the local summer camps or activities. Some are whole day camps while others are only a few hours. Check out our page on camps to see what´s on offer.

If you like to dance Princess Studios in Marina Banus offers dance classes for teenagers. They have fresh fun and funky classes in modern, street, hip hop, and video style and much more. For more information on this class as well as others go here.

There are also plenty of one off sports activities that you can try from water sports like jet skiing and cable skiing to adventure sports like paintball and horseback riding. You may want to have a go at one of these activities to meet other kids your age. If not, you certainly will have fun anyway.
