Children´s dance classes in Marbella

by Danielle
(Marbella)

Hello,

We recently moved to Marbella and have settled in quite well, however I am now looking for some dance classes for my 10 year old daughter. She doesn´t speak Spanish yet, but she´s learning. She doesn´t like ballet so much and prefers something a bit more modern. Can you recommend somewhere you think would be suitable for her?

Dance Marbella
by: Jessica

I have several friends who have their kids at Dance Marbella. The teacher is really great with the girls and they are so happy. I don't have girls, but if my son ever shows interest in dance, I would definitely try it out.

dance classes in Marbella

I tried contacting Tiny Dancers by phone and email without success. I found in another posting by them that they are located in Nueva Andalucia on Calle Lisboa near El Picadero restaurant.

You can read a bit more about the classes that were offered last summer by Tiny Dancers on these pages:

Tiny Dancers
Little Nightingales

If we hear from them, we will let you know.

Tiny Dancers Marbella
by: Marbella Family

I haven´t been able to find a website for Tiny Dancers Marbella and doubt they have one, because, otherwise they would´ve included it in this comment page. You can find a bit more information about Tiny Dancers on this page: Marbella summer camp.

Your best bet would be to call them or email them at the contact information they posted.

Hip hop classes in Marbella
by: Marbella Family

We recently posted information about hip hop, streetdance, breakdance and commercial dance classes taught by Cyril - an excellent dancer, teacher and all around good person. He is French, but speaks English and Spanish in addition to French. He even speaks Japanese!

He offers classes throughout the Marbella area and Sotogrande. Your child may attend classes at Laude San Pedro International College, Danzzas studio in Manolo Santanas Racquets Club near Aloha, Plaza Gym in Nueva Andalucia or at Danceworks in Sotogrande.

Check out his hip hop page for more details on times and places.

Marbella Dance Classes
by: Marbella Family

DANCE CLASSES FOR KIDS IN MARBELLA

There are plenty of dance classes around Marbella to choose from and you might want to go ahead and give a few of them a go before you find the right one that suits your daughter. We have reviews for some of the dance schools on our site under the section called Clubs/Activities and Arts/Music/Dance. Reading our personal reviews will give you a better idea of what each one has to offer (exams, English or Spanish speaking, etc.) and the budget you will need.

The most popular schools that offer dance classes in Marbella are:

1. Danzzas
2. Princess Studios

3. Costa All Stars Cheerleaders

There is also an excellent after school dance class offered by Danzart taught by Karen Guarnieri, an experienced dancer and fitness instructor with full qualifications in dance, aerobics and cheerleading. Her dancers often participate at events outside of school to display their talents. Her classes focus on musicals, creative dance styles, all with a mix of jazz, Latino, funk, pop and cheerleading moves. Karen organizes exams for those dancers interested in taking them for credit. Currently dance practice takes place after school (4:30pm) at Laude International School in San Pedro, but is open to the public. You may contact either Laude or Karen directly (607 564 265) for more information.

Also, if your daughter is inspired by Spanish culture there are excellent flamenco classes taught at the Nueva Alcantara Padel and Tennis Club. The teacher is a lovely Spanish woman and is highly qualified in dance with much patience for her students both young and old. Contact Nueva Alcantara Padel and Tennis Club for more details.
