One of our favorite family friendly restaurants that you just can't miss while in Marbella is La Parisienne. This bakery & cafe has some of the best breakfast and lunch menus in town at Centro Plaza near Puerto Banus.

TIP: You HAVE to take a look at the latest orchid decoration (on Facebook) made out of icing sugar. It looks so real and is totally edible. Impressive!

* Spanish concerts at the Starlite Festival

If you want some really good Spanish concerts, don't miss Rosario, Lolita and Antonio Carmona at the Starlite Festival tonight! A gastronomical touch will be made by Paco Roncero of world famous El Bulli Catering in the Starlite Lounge. Over 45,000 tapas (starting at 5 euro each) will be served to all concert-goers.

* Disco under the stars tonight

“Disco Under the Stars” A night of disco classics featuring, Nile Rodgers and CHIC, Odyssey and Jaki Graham” tonight (Aug 3) at the Puente Romano Tennis Club.

This concert will feature three disco legends performing together for one night only and will be sure to get you up dancing and singing along. * MarbeMagic Festival

The 2012 Marbemagia Festival will be this weekend on Sunday August 5th at the Las Chapas Fair. This is the second edition of a festival that began a couple of years ago to show the citizens of Marbella different magic tricks. The programme is completely free to the public both young and old. A total of 10 magicians from all over Spain will participate in the festival, which has expanded its framework for action and will be shown in five different points of the city, starting at 21.30. The August montly TweetMarbella meet up is on Wednesday 8th August in the new Richard Lewis Living "bijou department store" in Guadalmina. The store has a bar and a lovely outdoor terrace perfect for TweetMarbella. Richard Lewis Living is owned by regular TweetMarbella attendees, Jonty Lewis & Sebastian McLeod.

The VIII Acuatlon "Ciudad de Marbella" held at Levante Beach (Puerto Banus) in Marbella starting at 10:00am on Sunday August 5th. Over 300 people of all ages participate in this annual event. 2,500m run, 1,000m swim, then another 2,500m run.
