Las Chapas Fair - Feria de Las Chapas

Marbella Town Hall is organizing a complete and varied program for the Las Chapas Fair - Feria de Las Chapas - which is taking place July 11 - July 13 2014, with opening ceremonies taking place on July 10th.

There will be lots of different activities for all ages which commemorates the Festival of Virgin Carmen.

Las Chapas is a beautiful area in Marbella near Elviria which boasts some of the best beaches of all on the Costa del Sol.

The Las Chapas fair schedule is as follows:
THURSDAY, JULY 10

19.30 h.- Holy Mass in the port of Cabopino, in honor to the Virgin of the Carmen de Las Chapas, accompanied by "Sierra Blanca" Rociero choir. Then it will be:
-Imposition of scapulars
-Immersion of the image
-Blessing of the waters
-Maritime procession

Then an appetizer will be held for all attendees.

FRIDAY, JULY 11

20.00 h. Holy Mass in the parish Virgin of the Carmen of the plates.

21.30 h. Inauguration of the exhibition by the local authorities, located in the pine forest (Spain Avenue).

22.00 h. Opening ceremony of the fair and festivals of veneers in charge of Mrs. Graciela García Romero (Director of the Colegio Pinolivo).

22: 30 h.- Coronation and laying on of bands to Queens and ladies children's and youth of 2014 fair.

Then be announced to the Popular Queen, Lady and Mister 2014.

Start dancing by the group "Evenings".

SATURDAY, JULY 12

08.30 h- Rosary of the Aurora in the parish Virgin of the Carmen of the plates. Subsequently the Churros with chocolate.

13:30 h. Performance of Marbella COPLA singer Natalia Bernal in the pine forest of the Spain Avda.

3:30 pm. Performance by the dance group of Karina Parra in the pine forest of the Spain Avda.

20.00 h. Tournament of football 7 in the Polideportivo Santa María of veneers.

20.00 h. Solemn mass in the parish Virgin of the Carmen of the plates.

21.00 h. Land of the Virgin of the Carmen of veneers procession.

Travel-out parish, C / Pinsapo, C / Pastoral of plates, square village silversmith, C/ Joaquín Rodrigo, C/ Enrique Granados, C / pastoral care of veneers, C / Pinsapo and back to his temple.

22.00 h. Dance show by the group "jarrillo" Lata ".

SUNDAY, JULY 13

10.00 h. In the older people Center of plates and the Park Erick Plan, there will be the Domino tournament VIII and VII tournament of petanque.

12.00 h.- Children's Party at the enclosure Ferial del Pinar, with the following activities:

-Bouncy castles
-Workshops
-Animation group
-Tasting

1:30 P.m.-Performance of ballroom dancing in charge of the center of active participation of older people of veneers in the pine forest of the Spain Avda.

14.00 h. Free tasting of noodles in the pine forest.

3:30 pm. Performance of the school of dance city of Marbella in the pine forest of the Spain Avda.
