Best Attractions and Boat Rental Service in Marbella?

Marbella Boat Rental

I am coming next week to Marbella, family of 5 with 3 boys 24, 13 and 10. We want to rent a boat (probably with driver if I need a special license).

Can you recommend a reasonably priced rental company for a 2 to 3 hour trip out in the sea?

Also - what other attractions, hikes would you recommend? We are planning a day in Granada, one in Gibraltar and of course exploring the coast.

Boat rental

In Puerto Banus you can rent a boat from small speedboat up to the largest superyacht.

If you are looking for something family-friendly a medium sized boat between 30 and 40ft should be enough.

There are numerous companies, I have used www.marbellacharter.net in the past and they were great. We got a full day trip and finished having lunch in Sotogrande before heading back to Banus.

For boat rentals specifically for families, we recommend you contact Patrick at Bluewater Marbella. He has over 20 years of experience in Marbella and captains his own boat for 1/2-day tours, which includes a nice lunch on board. It's a great way to spend the day with family here.

For hikes specifically, there are some amazing hikes you can take with the boys. If you'd like a guide, we'd recommend contacting "Manu" at Health First Studio. He organises family hikes in the area and can even set up a rock climbing area for the kids. We get a lot of positive feedback on his mountain hikes.

For tours around Marbella, we would also recommend you get in touch with Cristina at CRIS&KIM Travel. They know a lot of really great family adventures around the Costa del Sol that many have never even discovered.
