La Cala Mijas Christmas market 2010

DUE TO BAD WEATHER, THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO DECEMBER 10 - 12, 2010.

Mijas Town Hall is organizing a charity Christmas market in La Cala Mijas Costa on December 4 - 6, 2010 from 12:00pm to 8:00pm.

There will be a range of stalls selling plenty of Christmas items as well as a chance to taste Gluhwein and watch a variety of performances from both Spanish and international choirs and local dance schools offering demonstrations in salsa and flamenco. The highlight for the little ones will be a chance to meet with Santa Claus who is visiting every day.

Also, there will be a charity Christmas walk.

The Christmas market is located opposite the Culture Centre in La Cala Mijas

SATURDAY DECEMBER 4th

12:00pm - Opening Street Parade for the Classic Car Club of Andalucia
1:30pm - Christmas Dance Show by Stagecoach Theater School
3:00pm - Flamenco Show by Azabache
3:30pm - Salsa Show "Franfusion" and latin dance workshop
4:30pm - Dance Show "Fama"
5:00pm - Santa Claus passes out chocolates and a raffle ticket
5:30pm - International Choir "Tapas Choir"
6:30pm - International Christmas Carol Concert of the Municipal Band of La Cala Town Hall
7:30pm - Christmas Tree Raffle
