Hotels along the boardwalk in San Pedro

by Andrea

I',m going to a wedding in June - the wedding is in a villa setting which is along the San Pedro Boardwalk. Are there any hotels in that precise area. Also how far does the Boardwalk stretch?

NH San Pedro
by: Barbara Wood

I regularly stay here and like it a lot. 3 stars, very friendly staff. No pool but bar on the roof in summer. The best thing about it is the location, right in San Pedro village so you can walk to everything and don't have to worry about having a drink and driving. I stayed in the NH Marbella recently, opposite the Guadalpin, and although it is smarter, 4 stars, I didn't like it nearly as much as I didn't like where it was, you need a car for everything.

Boardwalk hotels in San Pedro
by: Marbella Family

If the wedding is literally on the San Pedro part of the boardwalk, then no, there aren´t any hotels on the boardwalk here. If you want to walk to the wedding then the closest hotels are the Hotel Cortijo Blanco, Hotel Pueblo Andaluz, the NH hotel and the Guadalpin Banus Hotel.

The Hotel Cortijo Blanco is a three star hotel and is located just off the main highway N340 (on the beachside) and is a 5-10 minute walk to the boardwalk. The hotel currently is under renovation, so you will have to check if they are open and if they will gain another star. You can call them at +34 952 78 09 00 or email: res.cortijo@hihotels.net.

The Hotel Pueblo Andaluz is another three start hotel located across from the Hotel Cortijo Blanco, still on the beachside of the highway. They are closed now for the season, but should re-open by the Easter holidays called Semana Santa. You can call them at +34 952 780 597 or +34 902 885 451.

The NH Hotel is a newer hotel located on the other side of the highway closer to the city side of San Pedro. The walk to the boardwalk is a little bit longer and you have to cross the main road, so it may take you about 10-15 minutes. I am not sure how many stars it is, but it seems to be also about a 3. You can contact them at +34 952 853 040.

The best option, if it´s not too far for you, is the Hotel Guadalpin Banus. It´s a five star hotel, but appears to be more of a four as the interior needs a bit of TLC. It´s a comfortable hotel that is located just in between San Pedro and Puerto Banus and offers good value. The walk to the San Pedro boardwalk is a bit further than the others and I would give yourself about 15 minutes to get there by foot. The only problem with this hotel is that lately we´ve seen protesters out front picketing over unpaid salaries, so keep this in mind if you book this hotel. You can contact the Guadalpin Banus hotel by email infobanus@guadalpin.com or call +34 952 89 97 03 / 00.

The boardwalk has recently been extended to Marbella, but the distance of just the San Pedro part is about 2 kilometers.
