Where should I stay in Marbella?

by Louise

We are a family of four visiting Marbella this summer. We have two children aged 5 and 7 and would like to stay in an area that´s close to a beach and not far from the center, with shops and cafes (preferably walking distance). We will be staying in Marbella for two weeks so have time to explore not only Marbella but other areas around...maybe some water parks or zoos?? It looks like the "Marbella area" is spread out from Estepona to Malaga with lots of things to do in between. Where is the best location for us? Marbella center? San Pedro? Also, my parents may be joining us so we are not sure if we should rent a villa in Marbella or stay in a hotel. Help! Not sure what to do.

We understand your confusion as there are plenty of things to see and do while in Marbella. Since you have two weeks in Marbella you will have lots of time to explore not only Marbella, but the surrounding area as well.

We suggest that you take a look at our Marbella Accommodation page as you will find explanations about the best places to stay in Marbella as well as a bit of advice to help guide you in the right direction in your search for a hotel or villa in Marbella.
