Sign up now for tennis doubles in autumn 2013
by: Jerry H.

Hi everybody, I am a member of the MTC , Marbella chapter and we are looking for folks to play tennis doubles with. Not sure what level you are? Ask our Carin to send you the DIY Chicago rating test and you will know if you are at the level of playing a friendly ( doubles) game or if you can sign up for one of the tournaments we are organizing from October onwards in 2013. Not too high a level believe me: anybody w scores between 3 and 4 can enter. Just send an email and find out.
If you don't try you will never know. Tennis keeps you young, bright and healthy! Regards folks! Jerry (level 3.5)

Mix ins suggestions
by: Carin

Dear fellow tennis players, please be advised that due to the hot weather and holiday period there will be no individual games planned until end of August. Certainly you can get in touch w us if you are looking for partners to play w and organize it amongst yourselves. If you feel like playing without the hassle, the best way to go about it is find a tennis club near you: on the Internet it comes up when searching for tennis clubs costa del sol... give the club a call and ask them when their mix ins are being held.

The following clubs have been known to hold them: San Pedro Alcantara, Manolo Tennis Center, Puento Romano, El Casco, Club del Sol in Calahonda and Miraflores. Certainly if you are interedted you can take up padel the fastest growing tennislike sports in Spain. it is somewhat harder on the knees but it is a lot less running.

We are not very good players but want to play...
by: Andy Walsh

We only learned to play two years ago. We can serve, return fairly well but not when it is too fast or too hard. Can we still get in touch?

Always someone to play with!
by: Lillian

Thanks so much for organizing this Carin. Marbella is ideal for outside tennis and finding people to play with has never been easier. All it takes is an email w contact details. No fees or membership required. All you pay is your share of the court fees. There is also a special on for a getting-back-in-the-game 2x 2 hours lesson plan. Cheerio
