Public transport on the Costa del Sol is provided by the Avanza Grupo company Portillo with buses running from Algeciras to Malaga. Portillo also provides services to further destination far from the Coast, like Sevilla and Granada, as well as the white villages like Ronda, Coin, Monda and many more.

There is also a Bus Services to and from Malaga Airport although these don't run very late at night or early in the morning. The bus trip itself is super comfortable and totally worth the while. It goes via the high way which actually makes it a faster trip than if you where to travel by car on the coast road. Everybody that uses the airport bus has only good things to say about this service. Airport transport
There are Train stations in Fuengirola and Benalmadena, and it takes from 11-35 minutes and cost 1,80-3,60€ to get to and from the airport.
