On Friday the 18th of March at 14.00 p.m. in the Salon Andalucía at the Hotel Puente Romano, Les Roches Marbella will hold its Closing Ceremony. 48 students will be awarded their Post-Graduate Diplomas. Ranked by industry hiring managers as the number 1 Hospitality Management School in Spain and among the top worldwide for an international career and due to the international prestige and quality of education, more than 90% of its graduates are working in renowned hotels and hospitality establishments in over 54 countries. This year’s graduates maintain their internationality as they come from 13 countries, such as: Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Italy, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain, Ukraine and United States.
The Graduation Ceremony will be presided by Mr. Mr. Francisco Javier Porcuna Romero, Deputy Mayor, Delegate for Industry, Public Road, Strategic Projects and Developments of Marbella Town Hall, Mr. Jorge Manzur, General manager of Puente Romano Beach Resort & Spa, who will deliver the opening speech, Mr. Carlos Díez de la Lastra, CEO/General Director of Les Roches Marbella and Ms. Maria José Aparicio, Academic Director of Les Roches Marbella. During the Ceremony, the Les Roches Marbella’s “Golden Key Award” will be awarded to Mr. Antonio Maria Ceballos, in recognition of his extensive professional career, contribution and dedication to this exciting industry. Families, authorities and representatives from local organizations and businesses will also be attending the ceremony.
The recognized academic excellence provided by Les Roches Marbella has allowed, during its twenty years of history, that ninety percent of its graduates have job on graduation day at prestigious companies in the international hotel and tourism industry. Les Roches Marbella will begin in April 2016 an extraordinary intake for its postgraduate programs (the new postgraduate diploma in Marketing Management for Tourism Luxury and the postgraduate diploma in International Hotel Management - both of one year duration) and in July / August 2016 a new intake will start for the following undergraduate and postgraduate programs, all taught entirely in English: the Bachelor of Business Administration in International Hotel Management (3,5 years) with specializations in Strategic Human Resources Management, Event Management, Resort Management or Entrepreneurship and SME Management / Les Roches Hotel Management Diploma (3 years) and the 1-Year Post-Graduate Intensive Diploma in International Hotel Management. All Les Roches Marbella’s academic programs are recognized and accredited at the university level by the New England Association of Schools & Colleges (NESAC), USA.
