Kids on the Costa Magazine Celebrates it's 10th Anniversary!

by Vicky Ambrose

Hello again!

Here at “Kids on the Costa” we’re back at work after our long Winter break and looking forward to bringing you the Spring edition that covers all of March and April. We’re especially excited as it is our 10TH ANNIVERSARY ISSUE! Yes - “Kids on the Costa” has now been publishing on the Costa del Sol, Gibraltar and Inland areas for a 10 whole years.

We are justly proud of the reputation we have gained over this time and would like to take this opportunity to thank all our advertisers who have trusted us with their business over the years and have helped to make the magazine such a success. The brand is now well and truly established and we know from the many emails and phone calls we receive from our loyal readers that they can’t wait to receive their free copy each and every issue.

To celebrate this land mark, we are running a special “pull-out-and-keep” guide to throwing children’s parties. Consisting of a complete A - Z tips for planning the big day, it will also included details of the coast’s best party venues, entertainers, caterers, bouncy castle suppliers etc., as well as ideas and activities for older children and teens.

To be included in this special feature, please contact us to reserve your advertising and editorial space as soon as possible. The deadline for bookings is 15th February, for editorial 17th February and 20th February for advertising artwork.

Other exciting features this issue include:

Building Your Childs’ Self Esteem - Kids on the Costa looks at the import role that after school activities play in developing confidence in children. We help advise parents on which activities to choose for their child and that taking part in performing arts, adventure activities, sports, martial arts etc. can vastly improve their selfbelief. If you offer extra curricular activities for children, then you need to let our readers know!
Mothers Day and Fathers Day Weekend - This issue covers both the UK Mothers Day (18th March) and Spanish Fathers Day(19th March) so what better time to give tips and hints as to how the children can make the weekend special for their parents?! (Of course, it will be the parents who ultimately book that special meal out or a family trip to one of the many local attractions, so if you are holding any special events over this weekend, please do let us know).
Easter Holiday Camps and Activities - Easter week falls from Palm Sunday on 1st April until Easter Monday on 9th April. We inform parents of organized Easter activities as well as fun ideas to enjoy at home.
Competition - Win a 50 euros shopping voucher to Iceland!

Our Regular Features Include:
Early Days - Vital information for mums-to-be and new parents with children aged 0 - 4 years old.
Parents Pinboard - What’s New and News for Parents
After School Activities - From singing to football, it’s all here!
Family Fun - Outings and action, come rain or shine.
What’s Happening - Dated listings of all the coasts best events over the coming two months.

So don't forget to get in touch soon and let us know about your activity or event.
