How do I register my car in Spain?

Hi there,

First and foremost, I really appreciate your help on this topic.
I have a Slovakian car (SK is in EU just like Spain) on Slovakian plates and I am thinking of registering it here in Spain (Barcelona). My insurance, MOT - everything is valid but completed in Slovakia. My question is how much would it cost me, and how would I go about registering the car to Spanish plates? Would I be required to redo my MOT, i.e. complete the ITV here in Spain?
Overall, I'm interested in what would be the overall cost and how much time it would take.
