Health insurance

by Kirsten
(Marbella)

Hello,

I just recently moved to Marbella, and am looking to get private health insurance. I am completely lost with all the different plans out there and would like to know if anyone has any recommendations as to which company to go with?
I am self employed, female, 31 this year, and would need good maternity coverage. Who do I go with? Should I get individual, or family plan with my husband? Help!!
Thank you in advance :)

Hi related to the health insurance plan we can provide you with information and quotes if you like.
There is a promotion at the moment with one month free per insured with a maximum of four months, full health plans covers and premiums are much lower than any other out there.
Please contact me on diana.norris@sanitasexpat.com or follow the link and fill out the form http://www.sanitasexpat.com/?p=620.

kind regards,

Sanitas health insurance
by: Caroline

I think SANITAS does a good job, though they charge the same for a new born (and kids under 4 years) the same monthly fee as for an adult mum.

National health

If you are self employed and paying social security you would be covered under the Spanish state system. The Costa del Sol hospital in very good and I know that the maternity wing is run by an Irish midwife!

health insurance in Spain
by: Sally

Dkv are good as they cover you immediately for maternity unlike others. Also good family plans and covers dental as well.

You can pm me as my friend is an insurance broker and she has always looked after us very well. This year we moved to Alliance on her recommendation and saved 50% on our yearly policy...
