Golf pro for beginners

Wondering if anyone has any suggestions, my friends are coming out for a girly holiday in July and we want to try golf! We want somewhere that's pretty relaxed as we've never played before and just want to have a laugh, also on the cheaper side would be good!! Thanks

golf
by: amanda

I would recommend El Soto Golf Club in Elviria, Marbella, it's a small 9 hole course, perfect for beginners, not too expensive when I last went... http://www.elsotogolf.com/golfcourse.php
Good luck!

Calanova golf
by: Lena

You won't be allowed to play on any course. I don't know where you are staying but Calanova in La Cala accepts people who hasn't got HCP. It's cheap to play, cheap to rent equipment.

Alhaurin Golf club
by: Katherine

If you've never played before, clubs won't let you go and dig up and their nice courses so lessons on a golf range is the way to go. If you want to venture out a little, I highly recommend Alhaurin Golf club. They have a range for a lesson, then you can have a go on their small 9 hole par 3 which is perfect for beginners.

It's only 30 mins from Marbella centre

There's a fun driving range at the back of Guadalmina / San Pedro next to the cable ski lake.

Magna Marbella golf
by: Finola

Liz, Magna Golf in Nueva Andalucia is a Par 3 - shorter holes, so easier to get around the course - might be better too for you in the summer. There is also a driving range which you could practice on first.

Afterwards you could have lunch or dinner on Magna's beautiful terrace overlooking the Coast - good food and service. Enjoy!

Beginners should go for a lesson first. Try the Atalaya Golf range.
