About a thousand vintage cars and motorcycles will be displayed this weekend in the Second Annual Classic Car, Vintage and Retro Collection Auto & Moto Málaga 2015, held at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions.

It is estimated that between permanent displays, historic vehicles which attendees can display at one of the pavilions and concentrations programmed pass "between 1,000 and 1,200 cars" by the Palace, according to the director of the organizing company, José Enrique Elvira.

The fair will occupy 10,000 square meters of Hall 1 with 160 exhibitors from its commercial area, where they will remain for sale a hundred cars (both dealers and individuals), parts and accessories. The 6,000 square meters of Hall 2 will be dedicated to the exhibition of historic cars and motorcycles clubs and individuals.

Apart from the purely commercial activity, the quote is loaded with complementary activities. So, for Sunday concentration Ferrari (Ferrari Owners Club promoted by Andalusia) and a Porsche (Porsche Club Granada) in the complex is planned.

Tribute to the Citroen DS

In addition, the organization will be honored for its 60th anniversary to Citroen DS, known in Spain as 'Jaws'. This space will highlight the DS 19 L Croisette model given by the Automobile Museum of Malaga, a variant of which only eight units were manufactured at the time. "Among the attributes of 'Jaws' that seduced the public at the time included the design, elegance, aerodynamics and technology, as it was the first car that came standard with disc brakes and some assisted systems," explained Elvira .

Other attractive features of the exhibition are a Ferrari 250 GT Coupé 1956, of which only four units, a private collection of twenty Porsche 911 ("one of the best in the country," Elvira), a sample of motorcycles were manufactured Italian brand Lancia Dilambda Guzzi or 1934, known as the parade car Mussolini.

In relation to last year's, Retro Málaga has increased both the number of exhibitors and exhibition space, and has also advanced the date of celebration almost a month, with the goal of being "the first significant event of the year" sector nationally, as explained by its director.

The price of admission to the exhibition will be 8 euros per day, while visitors can also pay 12 euros to attend all three days or by a joint entrance hall and the Automobile Museum in Malaga for 10 euros (the visit the museum may be to late April). Attendees come with a historic vehicle and place him at the exhibition area will have a 50% discount.

The Retro Málaga hall will be open from 16.00 to 21.00 on Friday January 30; from 10.00 to 21.00 on Saturday January 31 and 10:00 to 20:00 on Sunday 1 February.
