Synopsis: Leon Minkus music and choreography by Alexei Fadeyechev (based on earlier of Marius Petipa and Alexandre Gorski). Libretto by Marius Petipa based on the work of Miguel de Cervantes and performed by the stars, soloists and corps de ballet of Ballet Don Quixote and his faithful squire Sancho Panza embark on adventure in search of the ideal woman in this new production of Fadeyechev with new scenic and costume mount this four-act ballet whose first performance took place on 14 December 1869 in the same Bolshoi.
