Where can my kids get involved to help underprivileged kids during the holidays?

I would like to know if there are any local Marbella or San Pedro charities where my kids ages 7 and 6 can help to volunteer during this Christmas Season and learn to help others that are less fortunate.

I would like to teach them the value of helping other children in need and I only seem to find events where you can donate things but never get to have any interaction with anyone. Fancy events, and galas, but nothing where you can actually help the children in person.

Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Where children can help children

Hello Karyn,

Thank you very much for your query and we have the same observation - most of the charitable organisations are set up to receive donations but we have not seen any recently which have invited children to support other children.

One suggestion we have is to visit this page: Marbella Charities

There are several organisations indicated there that work with children, including an orphanage in Malaga.

Please share your experience with the community here. We are certain that many others would be interested in a similar programme and we would be glad to spread the word!
