 Swimming lessons with Julia

I can’t express enough how wonderful Julia was with teaching my 3 & 5 year old boys to swim.

My little one had never been in the water without armbands and she managed to get him in, happily and confidently… teaching him the basics of blowing bubbles and the general frameworks.

My eldest son walked away from his time with Julia having learnt front crawl! just wow!

I cannot recommend Julia enough - she is so lovely, has so many great swimming games at the ready and the boys absolutely adored their daily lessons with her!

My 8 year old had fantastic time with Julia and learned to swim very quickly! Julia is kind, punctual, friendly and responsible! Thank you for pushing my girl and giving her the confidence to go for it! The change has been incredible! I would highly recommend Julia as a swimming teacher.

During our stay in Marbella our 5 year old son Max learned so much from Julia with private swimming class twice a week.
She is a very good teacher, very nice And beautifil personality.

Empecé mis clases con Julia en julio de este año, al principio no sabía si lograría aprender a nadar porque pienso que es más difícil cuando es un adulto, solo iba a poder tener 7 semanas de clases con ella y claro era poco tiempo, que se resumían en 14 clases . Pues desde la primera clase fue muy profesional, y desde el primer día empecé a nadar con técnicas muy sencillas. Explica paso a paso y sobre todo las técnicas correctas para practicar natación, no solo aprendí a nadar sino también que me enseño 5 tipos de estilos de natación. Para mi es la mejor instructora, siempre súper paciente, es súper clara al explicar, súper puntual y sobre todo muy profesional. Julia es la mejor instructora de toda Marbella!

When we planned our trip to Marbella I thought it would be a good opportunity for my 5yo boy to learn to swim. Through a google search I found Julia and saw many good recommendations about her work. I wasn’t so sure what to expect because my son was an aquaphobe, always with arm bands and would never put his head inside the water. After two classes with Julia he was already putting the head under water and after four classes he was swimming! I was truly amazed!! Julia makes learning fun, speaks multiple languages and is always punctual. I highly recommend her.

Julia has been an excellent swimming instructor. From the first day I felt completely at ease. I had swimming lessons at school when a child and in the more recent years had a few but never felt I made a lot of an improvement. Now at 44 years of age I feel I have learned a lot from Julia. I have lost my fear of being in deep water and can now do front crawl, breaststroke and back stroke thanks to Julia’s classes.

Julia is an excellent swimming instructor. Very patient and from the first day I felt completely at ease with her. As a child I had lessons at school and then as an adult but never felt I got very far. After having lessons with Julia it is the first time I feel comfortable in deep water and have lost my fear. I have learned front crawl, breast stroke and improved back stroke. It has been well worthwhile!

I was a little sceptical about so many excellent reviews, but having experienced Julia's professional teaching, wonderful empathy & seen the progress after such a short time, she fully deserves such fulsome praise. My two sons, aged 4 & 5yrs. have a wonderful basis on which to build their swimming skills.

Our 5 year old daughter loved Julia!
Julia gave lessons to Eleonora 2-3 times per week for a two months time period. Amazingly she learned how to swim!

Julia is very good with kids and understood quickly that our daughter is very shy and careful. She took this in consideration and made Eleonora feel confident and proud! Giving positive feedback constantly.
Julia had planed the lessons well in advance.She gradually increased the difficulties, all the time listening to Eleonoras pace.

Can any day recommend Julia!

I was looking for 1-1 swim lessons for my 3 year old daughter when I found Julia on this website,so I wasn't very sure what to expect. She was very quick to respond to my email and extremely accommodating and helpful in arranging the lessons especially when I had to cancel all 5 of them and re-arrange them for the following week on very short notice, due to a delay in our holiday! The very best thing about Julia however is the fun and enjoyment my daughter had at every lesson whilst learning to swim! Julia was brilliant with my little girl and she loved going to her lesson every day! She learned so much in just 1 week and we can't wait to go back to Marbella to see Julia and continue with our lessons. I would highly recommend her as a teacher!!!

Being a non-swimmer I tried many teachers over the years to teach me how to swim.

The only teacher that has taught me to swim and enjoy the water without any fear is JULIA!!!

She is a fantastic teacher who listens carefully to your fears and needs and adapts each lesson for your purpose. She isn't a text book teacher at all. She makes you feel so comfortable in the water that you look forward to each lesson with her.

Thank you Julia, you have taught me a very valuable skill for the rest of my life and I can't thank you enough for this! And now I can enjoy the beach and the sea with everyone else this summer.

I can highly recommend Julia as a swimming teacher. My son (5years old) took classes. Before her classes he never liked to dive and after 4/5 classes he can't stop diving. She took him all his fear. Julia is a very patient teacher.
I hope for a summer camp this and the next years! ;)

We asked Julia to teach our three year old daughter Ellie to swim. She was excellent with her and Ellie took to her from the start. She loved her lessons and couldn't wait to see Julia each week.
Ellie's water confidence developed after only a couple of lessons and Julia's teaching techniques kept her interested and willing.
Highly recommended.

 Highly Recommended Swimming Lessons

I can highly recommend Julia for swimming lessons. She had been teaching my 2 boys aged 6 and 7 last summer. My eldest is autistic and she worked so well with him. Their confidence in the water improved so much that they were both swimming without armbands. It is a great help that Julia gets into the water with the kids. She also same to our apartment complex which was great. Plan to rebook her this summer!

 Great improvement for my 5 year old daughter

My daughter Sofia is 5 years old and did not know how to swim. We tried many different places but she didnt seem to improve her skills. Now she has been having swimming lessons with Julia for about 5 months and it is great to see how she has improved. She is getting a great style, she feels very safe, and is always happy and willing to go to the classes. A great teacher, I highly recommend her!!

My son was 4 years old when he started swimming with Julia. He couldn't swim when we started and was afraid of being in the pool. He is now totally comfortable in the water and under the water! He swims unaided now and loves his swimming classes. Julia did a great job in getting him to believe that he can do it! Best of all, he looks forward to his class every week!

Our children aged 5 and 7 had three swimming lessons per week with Julia, during our fortnight's stay in San Pedro during July 2013. Julia was very patient, especially with our youngest who was nervous about entering the pool. She came to our apartment, always on time, and devoted herself to helping the children improve their swimming. Not only did they learn to swim a lot better, they have wonderful memories of their very kind instructor. I would have no hesitation in recommending Julia as a swimming instructor, especially for holiday makers, from the U.K. or Ireland as she is fluent in English (and many other languages as well). I myself am not a confident swimmer and next time we visit I hope to take lessons with her. She charged very reasonable rates and was absolutely wonderful to work with.

I booked Julia for my 5 year old daughter as she was terrified of the water and had no interest in wanting to learn. after 1 month of lessons we now can´t get her out of the pool, she is so confident and is swimming completely unaided, thank you Julia, we are very grateful!!

 Swimming lessons with Julia

We can highly recommend Julia for teaching your kids how to swim!! She has been teaching our kids (5 and 6 years old) this summer. They loved it, they loved her! She did a very good job with the kids, even though she could not speak their language. Lessons are fun, she is very flexible with the hours, very good with kids. And how much comfortable can it be to have swimming lessons in your own pool??
