Schools in Las Chapas

by Vero
(Marbella)

Hi

We just moved from Germany to Marbesa and are looking for a school for our daughter. Back in DE she went to Kindergarten, but i heard that she must go to a Colegio here. So far we know theres a german school in La Mairena, and a private school in Elviria. Anything else?

We would also like to meet families with kids aged 4-5. Really looking forward to some emails!

Schools in Las Chapas / Marbesa area

My daughter is six now, but attended CEIP Pinolivo school from 3-6 years and in September started at CEIP Platero in Elviria. They are both public schools, they are excellent. I can highly recommend both and there are so many nationalities - Spanish, English, German, Russian, Polish, French, etc. Your children will for sure integrate very easily.

Thank you!!

Thank you so much for the answers. Im trying to get appointments at different schools, german school said they have a waiting list, public school will be checked tomorrow. Apparently, our daughter needs to wait until september? Didn't really get that part.

Thanks again for your comments!

State school
by: Simon

If you live in Las Chapas you could be entitled to free schooling. The local school is Pino Livo, which is excellent. It is in the street next to the LIDL and Mercadona, mountain side before Elviria. My daughter went there and is now at the sister school Platero which is also excellent. Now in the state schools there are lots of nationalities so your child should feel welcome. Good luck!

Hi Vero,
It depends on what you like for your daughter: German education, British Education, Swedish....Spanish??
In Las Chapas is a very good private Spanisch school. I tried the German, English and Spanish schools for my kids in the last 11 years and all have their pros and cons. Feel free to contact me if you would like more profound info: 626021187😊
