Paying traffic fines in Marbella
by: Marbella Family

I am not sure how to pay ticket in Estepona, but am sure there is a service similar to the one we have in Marbella. Your best bet is to go to the website and pay online.

In Marbella you can either pay the traffic fine in person, by telephone or online.

Pay in person

You can pay at any branch of Banco Santander or post office. Or you can go to the Direccion General de Trafico (General Traffic Office) on San Antonio, 29.

Pay by phone
To pay by telephone you must call 060 and have your credit card and the ticket. This service runs 24 hours a day, so you can pay your ticket at any time.

Pay online
To pay online you will need to have the number of the ticket and go to the website www.dgt.es. This is the Direccion General de Trafico (General Traffic Office).

Keep in mind that if you pay your ticket within 20 days you will get a 50% reduction.

For anyone else reading this post you may find this posting about traffic fines interesting.
