Italian Restaurant Trattoria da Dora

This is a restaurant newly taken over by a lovely, warm Italian couple from Milan. They are situated in La Campana area of Nueva Andalucia on the main high st ( Avda Miguel de Cervantes, 23).

We happened to pass by last Sunday with the children at lunchtime and saw the inviting set menu (yes, on a Sunday lunchtime too) for 10,50euros for a 3 course meal ! Well, it was fantastic. Great generous portions, olives, bread and a small added starter in addition. I had a wonderful merluza(hake) in red pepper sauce, whilst my family had the escalpines in a mushroom sauce, all with vegetable and potatoes...

The waiter was delightful, efficient and funny....Highly recommended and worth a try...They close on Wednesday but are open the rest of the time for lunch and dinner.
