Help Please: Moving to Spain

Requesting help deciding on the big move to Spain including: Schools meeting people

in Manilva
We currently stay in the UK and are thinking about doing a trail year in Spain. I'm very unsure about the move as scared of being in a new place with two young children alone while my husband works offshore. Needing advise about what schools are good, places to meet knew people, things the kids can do to make them settled in (so they don't just think it's a long holiday) places that us adults can meet people or groups to join. I would be looking for job opportunities too preferably with some English speaking people.
