Aloha College Victorian Day

On Tuesday 12 January Aloha College Milepost 2 (Years 3 & 4) were transported back in time to the Victorian era. As Victorian school children they dressed as they would have done, under took lessons in the same format as then, girls learnt to sew and the boys learnt to draw. Everyone had to learn poems and chant their times tables, if they got it wrong to the corner they went!!! The teachers even acted like they were from that era too! It was a great day for everyone to experience what it was like and how times have changed. We all decided we much prefer school now to then!
