Alarm System Companies - Any recommendations?

I am looking to install an alarm system for my home. I've been approached by ADT. Does anyone have any experience with this company? I'd be interested in any recommendations on security companies for Marbella/San Pedro de Alcantara.

I definitely would not recommend Target, they are very slow to help when your System has a fault or broken down, you are left stranded with absolutely no security for a week or more, they arrange with you a day to repair and then don’t bother to show up! The only advice I can give is do your own research and get something in writing from a company to advise they will do any repairs within 2 days, that’s long enough for any good credible security company to get their act together!

I'm looking for advice on Security/alarm companies. We have just invested in a second home and would like to update the security system to maybe a CCTV system (that we can see from home) and camera door entry and wondered if anybody has any recommendations of companies to use? Thanks Lucy

Security Companies - Personal Experience

I have been with most of the Security Companies along the coast but the Best one so far has been Target Security based in San Pedro - Marbella. It is a very good local company and will provide you a bespoke and efficient service. We can access our CCTV system remotely using our Iphone / Ipad and the alarm system is taylor made to our needs.

Securitas and Prosegur Marbella

The two main companies here are Securitas and Proseguir. Both of these do installations and monthly fees for management and response. I would start with Securitas as their office is in the new glass office building at the top of the street and they all have breakfast everyday at the bakery. If you call, I'm sure they will send someone round for a chat and quote within the day.

Many of our customers in the area use Securitas Direct & ADT as are compatible with our ADSL service too. Hope it helps ;-)
