* La Parisienne French Cafe & Bakery

La Parisienne Cafe opened only last fall, but it seems like it's been here forever with lots of familiar faces and fantastic menu items to choose from. If you haven't yet visited this gorgeous French cafe and bakery, this is an absolute must and has become one of our favorite restaurants. It's great for the kids as well as for adults. It's also the perfect venue for a nice meal or just a quick coffee and croissant to meet up with friends.

All their dishes use the freshest ingredients and are cooked to perfection. You can really taste the difference. And don't forget dessert or take home a lovely fresh baguette and macaroons. They are TO DIE FOR! Click here to read more...

* Estepona Youth Theatre

There is still some space at The Estepona Youth Theatre where children can participate in a number of fun classes that not only help children learn the art of theatre, but gives them lots of other “life skills” such as public speaking and confidence.

A new semester has just started, so if you have children interested in performing arts, have them try a class. They also have some great reviews and a fantastic track record with their LAMDA exams. Click here to read more...

* The Jeans Factory Marbella Outlet

If you're looking for those perfect pair of jeans, you're sure to find them (and more!) at the Jeans Factory Marbella Outlet. Yes, folks, you heard it...there actually is outlet shopping in Marbella. It is always a bargain here, but now they have up to 70% off on all the major brands...Levi's, Tommy Hilfiger, Diesel, Ed Hardy, Miss Sixty, B.T Jeans, Moschino, Prada and much much more.

If you haven't been to the outlet before, it's definitely worth a browse and you're sure to find what you are looking for. Why pay more when you can get it at The Jeans Factory Marbella Outlet for less?

TIP: They're open on Sundays too! Click here to read more...

* Cake Couture Marbella

Birthdays are all around me now, so cake is on the mind. The most impressive cakes I have ever seen come from Cake Couture Marbella. They are real creations of art that impress and wow....and they taste good too! Guests at my daughter's party thought she was gifted a real Juicy Couture bag and were shocked when we cut into it and ate it! The cakes are that realistic. Check out their website to see some of the incredible designs. Click here to read more...

* Galaxia Playcenter

Rain or shine visit Galaxia playcenter in Guadalmina (San Pedro) for fun and games for all ages. If you have really little ones, keep in mind that there is a nice Mummy and Me playgroup on Fridays from 11:00am to 1:00pm. This is a great way to meet new people and get the little ones out of the house for the day. Click here to read more...

If you have had a good experience yourself and can recommend somewhere nice, please add to the comments! That’s what Marbella Family Fun is all about…families helping families. If you’re not sure, just come and try it out. First class is free! For more information contact Sifu Ben on Facebook at Wing Chun in Marbella or send us a message at marbellafamilyfun@gmail.com.

* Dog walking in Marbella

With the new “dog police” in force many of us are asking ourselves what are the rules for dog walking. Yes, we know we have to pick up after our dogs. Yes, we know they must be on the lead at all times. But one of our readers asks “Can any one tell me if there is a LEGAL place I can walk my dogs on the beach any where on the Costa del Sol?”

We’ve had a number of comments on this subject, so come take a look. However, we haven’t yet heard of a totally legal “dog-friendly” beach or even zones made particularly for dogs. If you know of one or have heard of one, please tell us! Feel free to comment and add to this interesting conversation on dogs and the rules in Spain. Click here to read more...
