The 3 Million Club is a humanitarian initiative set in motion by people struck by the tragedy of child starvation and the belief that it can be avoided thanks to new approaches and technologies.

OBJECTIVE: To stop the clock on child mortality due to malnutrition by 2020.

PLAN: To take the local food bank concept to a global audience by using the infrastructure of existing social enterprises, and by-passing traditional fund-raising intermediaries.

* Luna Mora Festival

This is the last weekend of the Luna Mora Festival - a cultural event that takes place over two weekends (September 6,7 and 13, 14) in the village of Guaro, which is situated in the Sierra de las Nieves natural reserve park near Monda, just 15 - 20 minutes from Marbella.

One of the biggest attractions of the festival is that the whole village of Guaro is illuminated with 20,000 candles, which makes for a very surreal and beautiful ambiance bringing the village to life at night. Click here to read more…
