Marbella Town Hall in conjunction with Marbella beach businesses is organizing Tourism Day "Moraga Popular" on Friday September 16, 2011 at 8:00pm. Celebrations will be held at beaches in Marbella (La Venus), Las Chapas (Pinomar) and San Pedro (La Salida).

The festivities will start at 8:00 offering locals and visitors the chance to taste traditional "espetos", sardines cooked on a stick, and other summer delicacies from each chiringuito (beach restaurant) that participates in the event.

This day is a celebration that demonstrates Marbella´s gratitude to all the neighbors and tourists who have worked to defend the chiringuitos that should remain in place. This event plans to be held every year and hopefully will have more and more citizens participate.

There will be music and dance at each beach so plan on having a fun evening out during these last few days of summer!
