Every Sunday, the Marbella Marina (Puerto Deportivo de Marbella) hosts ‘Mercadillo El Puerto’ - an artisan market where you can find lots of unique local arts and crafts such as jewelery, clothing, paintings, toys and much more. This event takes place from 12:00pm to 6:00pm on the Teresa Zabell Pier (northern part).

* Marbella Easter processions

Easter in Spain is celebrated a bit differently than possibly at home and their Easter processions are something quite spectacular to witness. The processions are held all throughout the week and consist of "tronos" (thrones that are as big as floats) which can weigh more than 5,000 kilos.
