King Abdul Aziz Mosque was the first Mosque constructed after the Christian re-conquest and subsequent expulsion of the Moors from Spain in the fifteenth century. Built by Córdoban architect Juan Mora, it holds over 800 people and consists of housing for the imam, library and gardens.

For prayers, mosque opens at each prayer time from fajr to isha. Special program occurs during the holy month of Ramadan.
