Marbella bus service to La Canada

Can you advise me how to get from El Rosario (hospital Costa del Sol) to La Cañada by bus? Is there a bus that passes? Can I buy a bus pass to use all week, and if so where?

Bus transportation to La Canada shopping mall

If you go to the bus station at the Hospital Costa del Sol heading in the direction of Marbella you can hop onto bus number L1, L3 or L6. These are the buses that go to La Canada. If you don´t see any of these buses passing through you should hop on and ask the driver "La Cañada?" (pronounced la-can-ya-da).

You can buy passes for the month, but not for the week. You can buy them any day you want and it will last for 30 days. You will have to have a photo printed on the card in order to avoid other passengers using the same card. This pass is called "Tarjeta Bono Mes" and can be purchased for 36 euros at the central bus station in Marbella or San Pedro.

The price of one bus trip within Marbella is €1.15.

Hi do you mean the bus station in marbella, or the bus stop at el rossario ?
as i have been on a L1 many times to and from marbella town and it does not go near el rossario hospital ?
I am coming from elveria and want to avoid having to go into marbella

Bus to La Canada

It looks as though there is no direct bus service to La Cañada from El Rosario/Hospital Costa del Sol. I am told that you can take bus number 54 from the Hospital Costa del Sol bus stop to the Marbella Bus Station. The station is only one exit past La Cañada, so you will only backtrack a tiny bit. Then from the Marbella Bus Station you need to take Line 6 going to La Cañada directly from the station.

I am told that currently bus 54 from Hospital Costa del Sol starts operating at 8:45am and runs approximately every hour until 8:55pm every day. If you would like to take a closer look at the schedule you can go to the website http://www.ctsa-portillo.com/horarios.html
