Marbella Family Fun welcomes kids back to Calpe School, which started last Thursday! This international school offers the British National Curriculum for boys and girls from 3 to 9 years. There are new latin and ballroom dance classes offered for kids in Marbella! Dance Marbella, located at Princess Studios in Nueva Andalucia is led by professional Latin dancer Nadia Stepochkina.

Several of our readers are looking for ballroom dance partners for some classes and ask, ”We are a group of 4 ladies ages between 38/52 with different social status, and who love to dance. We have recently joined some salsa dance clases in a club in Marbella called Marbella Baila.

Marbella Baila will be starting this coming September 2013 some ballroom classes for beginners and we would love to attend, but we don't have dance partners. We need men dance partners who are willing to learn with us and have a good time.”

* Luna Mora Festival

The Luna Mora Festival is a cultural event that takes place over two weekends (September 6,7 and 13, 14) in the village of Guaro, which is situated in the Sierra de las Nieves natural reserve park near Monda, just 15 - 20 minutes from Marbella.

One of the biggest attractions of the festival is that the whole village of Guaro is illuminated with 20,000 candles, which makes for a very surreal and beautiful ambiance bringing the village to life at night. Click here to read more…
