* Pointer Clinic drawing competition

During the week of Semana Blanca (25 Feb - 1 March) Pointer Clinic Estepona will be having a drawing competition for children age 3 to 11.

Draw or paint your pet dog /cat/horse/rabbit/Guinea pig etc. We will display them all in the waiting room. On Friday afternoon we will select the 3 winners. You can win a pony riding lesson, a checkup for your cat or dog, or a cat or dog toy. Click here to read more...

* Delivering at Costa del Sol Hospital

One of our readers got some great advice when asking, ”Hi there, I wonder if anyone can tell me if I can pay privately for healthcare at the Costa del sol hospital? I'm pregnant, due in May. I'm not entitled to social healthcare and not covered under my private medical insurance. I have been paying privately for antenatal care but have heard that Costa Del sol hospital is the only hospital in the area which has a birthing pool. I would really like a pool birth. Can anyone help?”

* Marbella street markets

No trip to Marbella is complete without a visit to the Marbella or San Pedro street market. The Puerto Banus street market is held on Saturday mornings and the San Pedro street market is held on Thursday mornings. * Semana Blanca
