WANTED: Partner and Manager for Scooter Business

We are looking for a business minded, resourceful honest individual that can run an electric scooter hire business.

We will supply the electric scooters free of charge and in return your company will pay a percentage of your takings. We estimate in the summer months, based on hiring 20 of these scooters out at €15 euros per hour x 7 hours per day, 7 days per week = Projected turnover of €14,700 per week.

The split of turnover will be discussed in a meeting. There is obviously an opportunity to invest a lump sum which in turn will mean a larger portion of the turnover can be awarded to the successful applicant. This would be preferable but not essential.

This is a Full Time position and we expect you will be either already running a business in the travel and tourism industry or looking to start something new.

You will need to have some sort of lockable facility to store the electric scooters. This will have to be fully insured and near the promenade or you will need transport to transport the scooters to a location where they can be hired out.

You will require some sort of public liability insurance, a business bank account that has a facility for consumers to pay a security deposit. The scooters are state of the art and capable of 20-30 kph with a range of 20-24 miles on a two hour charge.

These scooters are ridden like a bike but have no pedals. They can be folded down to fit in a car. They have the benefit of disc brakes, lights, horn, Bluetooth speaker, phone charging USB, alarm, digital readout to name a few.

Required experience: Management and Sales Experience. Some experience of the local laws and permissions required to start a hire business of electric scooters.

This is paramount to the application as without the necessary permissions, there is no business.
