Vuelta Ciclista a Espana 2010

The cycling Tour of Spain, or Vuelta Ciclista a España 2010, will be taking place this year from August 28 until September 19. This three-week nationwide cycling race is celebrating its 75th edition in Spain and will be riding through Marbella on August 29 and 30.

Ángeles Muñoz, the mayor of Marbella has stressed the importance this has on tourism and promoting the city. Already 1,800 hotel reservations have been made. There are 22 teams and 200 racers arriving in the city as well as many others who are supporting the event.
