Tours from Mijas

I've just moved to Mijas for a few months from Austria and cannot find tours that would pick me up from Villa la Jamisa.

The buses from Mijas to Fuengirola are often very late and the walk down the mountain to the bus station in Mijas is impossible when it rains.

How are tourists who live in Mijas catered for? I'm ready to book a dozen tours and nobody is interested. Can't be all that bad business in Spain.
