Swedish-Portugese Marriage in Spain

Does anyone know how to go about finding someone who can perform a civil marriage cermony for a Swedish-Portugese couple in Marbella? Swedish consulate can't do it because only one of us is Swedish. Apparently we can ask the townhall but they don't send anyone out to the location where you perform your marriage and we really prefer someone to perform in English anyway as our guest are mainly English Speaking. Any ideas???

Try to contact to www.oficiantemalaga.es, they do blessing ceremonies in several languages in Marbella.

I am currently working on an article for a magazine about getting married abroad. I found the solution on Svenska Kyrkans webpage, as well as skatteverket.se

There you can read about this exact problem, and there is an easy way around it, but I'll have you read it through on your own.

Try The Anglican Church of Costa del Sol, talk to Alan Maude, hi is Chaplain ... You can find him on Sundays . The address is c/Juan de Fuca 27, urb Beverly Hill ( they start at 10 am, if I remember right , so you better be there before or after ) It's actually the small English church build next to the Spanish church. Easy to find, it is in front of San Pedro's Mcdonalds. Unfortunately I don't have his phone number. http://www.achurchnearyou.com/san-pedro/. hope that will help .
