Set your Sights on the New School Term
As the new term approaches it is important to think about your child’s vision as well as all the text books and uniforms. Studies show that one in four children has an undetected visual problem which can affect their learning ability. Experts believe that many learning disabilities could be vision related, so it’s crucial that a child’s eyesight is regularly checked and they are given the right glasses if they need them.
Specsavers Opticas wants to encourage kids to wear their glasses with pride and so they are launching a Cool Kids competition, in association with Euroweekly News, especially for kids who look amazing in their specs. Parents can enter their cool kids into the competn from 17th September 2012. This will be a great way to show the world just how good they look in their glasses and the winner will receive a pair of designer kids’ glasses as well as a 50€ voucher from a shop of their choice.
To help kids’ on their way to coolness, glasses designers have been working hard to produce great ranges which tick all the boxes of fashion and durability and kids that wear glasses can now be the envy of all their friends with fun frames in bright colours sporting their favourite character or toy.
Specsavers Opticas have released a new kids’ range of frames including Star Wars™, Simpsons, Marvel Heroes and Spider-Man, alongside their own brand kids’ range. These designs are in fun colours and shapes made with durable materials and lots of imagination. A great example is the Simpsons range, where young Springfield fans can show off the images of Bart or Lisa on the arms of the frames. The collection offers rounded and aviator designs for boys, while girls can choose from candy pink oval and rectangular shapes.
The Star Wars™ range comes in a variety of styles and colours including gunmetal Aviators and midnight blue rectangular specs with stormtrooper detailing and branding on the arms, sure to be a hit for the new school term.
