Having fun in Malaga

For an incredibly fun way to sight-see Malaga, check out Jose's www.segwaymalagatours.com. He has a whole fleet of Segways which you can take out for an hour or two, and be shown around the beautiful pedestrian parts of the old town, as well as the Paseo Maritimo and lush gardens all around.

We arrived, not sure how we would fare, but with a patient teacher like Jose it's a breeze, and he gets you practicing in a little square until you feel confident enough to start the tour. Our 12 year old son was up and at it from the bat, and once we donned on our helmets and vests, we were off!

He took us on pedestrian roads to the Plaza de la Constitucion to practice a bit more and take in the beauty of the city. After driving under the beautifully canopied Calle Marques de Larios, we arrived at the Alameda park and drove through the Paseo del Parque to reach the Paseo Maritimo. Thankfully we took enough breaks as it does take a bit of getting used to standing straight for a period of time.

The day was glorious, the guide wonderful and we'll be going back to take a tour up to the Alcazaba Castle.
