Seeking Babysitter, Malaga, 11-16 August

Hi

We are coming to Malaga this Thursday for the feria and will be staying in the old town. We are 2 single mums (for this trip) with children aged 1 and 2, and 1 and 4 respectively.

Family One speaks English, Spanish and Swiss German (and some French) and Family Two
English.

We are looking for some short term babysitting help... probably not to be left alone with the children given short-term nature of work and late notice for us to check references etc but to
help us in the hotel and out and about.

Our children are all warm and lovely!

I was looking for a temporary nanny for my two kids while on holiday for a month in Marbella and found one on greataupair.com. I had to pay 60 dollars for a membership, but it has been worth it.

First you have to see if there are any matches for you in Malaga, and if you find at least 3 or 4 then it´s worth the price. I found 5 matches and 2 of them never answered my emails, so count on a couple of people to flake on you.

This site is really great, because it gets down to some details about the people you hire, i.e. first aid certified, tattoos, religious preferences, able to work for smokers... There are things you never even thought about asking, but are there for you anyway.
