Romeria Virgen del Rosario in Benahavis

The Romeria Virgen del Rosario in Benahavis takes place on October 7th at La Ermita de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, the Patron Saint of Benahavis. A pilgrimage by foot or carriage is made by locals to the Ermita with a local fiesta taking place after a mass at private and local tents set up where people may gather to eat, drink, dance and basically be merry.

2011 Schedule of Events:

08:30 – 10:00 Churros and chocolate FREE on Avenida Andalucia

11:00 Procession fro the village to La Ermita

13:00 Live music by “TENTACIONES”

16:00 Flamenco exhibition

17:00 Mass with the San Pedro Choir
