Oktoberfest 2010 in Malaga

Oktoberfest 2010 in Malaga will be celebrated from October 7th to the 17th in Plaza Marina. This traditional German beer festival attracts visitors from all around to sample German food, beer and culture.

The festivities will take place everyday from 1:00pm to 1:00am in the tent installed on Plaza Marina, which include food such as sausages, chicken, German baked goods, Bavarian cheese and the famous pretzel!

Approximately 40,000 people are expected to attend the event that will serve some 35,000 liters of beer. In addition to German food, you will also be able to listen and dance to German folk musica, play games and win prizes.

I was fortunate enough to be in Malaga during the Oktoberfest, much like the Munich fest. I loved the Malaga fest!! I will return next year if Malaga has an Oktoberfest again. Thank you Malalga, and Spain, you were superb in the World Cup; congratulations!! John in Phoenix!
