Hello,

I am interested in learning massage and, as I work full time, I wondered if anyone knew of any relevant evening courses in the Marbella area?
I'd be interested in Swedish massage and other holistic techniques ideally leading to a recognised qualification.

The best Mosquito screens

we have sliding windows and doors.

we have a baby on the way so we would like to have them done before the summer

The one in Shanti Som may be in English. If not, I would ask the director there if they know of any English massage certification courses.

A while back there was the Marbella Beauty Academy that was running courses in all kinds of beauty treatments. Perhaps they offer massage?

Massage in English

Thanks everyone for all your suggestions - much appreciated! My concern is that the courses I have found in the evening are in Spanish and my level of Spanish is not good enough to get the most out of the experience, especially the more theoretical and technical areas. I wonder if anyone has heard of are any courses run in English?

Next Quiromassage course in Marbella

Dear friend,

Please note that there are just a few days to the beginning of next course of Chiromassage 2011/2012. There are only a few places to fill the two groups which are: Monday and Wednesday mornings from 11 to 14 and evenings from 19 to 22 for 9 months.

La Escuela Sur de Quiromasaje is a pioneer in Marbella. Opened in 2000 this school has trained using manual techniques in Marbella (more than 600, of which over 300 are chiromassage). We have alumni who are currently working in the Hotel Don Carlos, NH Alanda Hotel El Fuerte, Hotel Selenza, Hotel Villa Padierna, Puente Romano, Centro de Estética Nueva Alcántara (Alcántara New Aesthetic Center), etc ... as you see these are the best hotels in the Marbella area and therefore to select the staff these are the most demanding, and proves the level of our teaching.

1 .- We are the only school of Andalusia which collaborates with the Escuela de Masaje Manual (School of Manual Massage) Dr. Sagrera. Swedish massage course in Marbella

hi laura. there is a new massage center in front of the bullring in Marbella called the Himalayan Center.

Swedish massage courses start October 10 in the mornings and 14 October in the afternoons, five hours every Friday from 16.30-21.30.

This is a 9 month course, although if you want just relaxing Swedish massage it is 3 months.

The price is 100 euros and 60 euros per month of enrollment.

Diplomas are certified by COFENAT.

Massage classes in Fuengirola

The only place I know where they give certified massages training is in Fuengirola. I will ask one of my friends if he knows of any, if not the place in Fuengirola is the Mistyan. It is just at the train station, where the Super Sol is. Here is their web-page
