Saturday May 1st is a national holiday, el Día del Trabajo. You can expect all the supermarkets and shopping centers to be closed. OpenCor is probably the only store that will be open.

You may want to try the street market in Marbella, which is usually open on Saturdays. Cross your fingers it doesn´t rain.
