If you missed the Monday market and can´t wait till next week, you can find plenty of other markets any other day of the week...as long as you have a car. See our flea market schedule under our Shopping section.

Monday Street Market in Marbella
by: Marbella Family

You started your search well, but it looks like you may have got lost. If you start at the port with your back to the sea you will see three large boat fountains in the middle of the main road (Avenida de Severo Ochoa). Cross the street at the end of this fountain sculpture (the third boat on the right) and head up north (away from the sea) on a street called Calle Isaac Peral. The first intersection you find is a roundabout with a street called Calle Platino. If you look in front, you will find the entrance to the street market in a zone called el Recinto Ferial Las Albarizas. At this point you should see lots of people walking around with lots of plastic bags. If you are lost ask anyone where the market (mercadillo, pronounced mer-ka-di-yo) is. Say, "Donde está el mercadillo?" and someone will surely point you on your way.
