Hi there,

I have been at the Aveda Salon, the first one, by the way, they have a guy called benji, he is Germán but speaks engulliste and spanish. i am vera happy with his haircut and colour. Their number is 952859273.
They Also have a good thai massage by the way..

The best hair salon? It´s a difficult one to answer, because what the "best" for one is, may not be so good for the other. I have been to a couple of hair salons in Marbella, but not many as I am really happy with the one I have been using for the last 13 years. I see Maria Jose at the Nueva Alcantara Tennis and Padel Club in San Pedro. I have also tried some of the other girls at the salon and they´re all very good. I have had my hair highlighted, cut, styled, treated and just about anything else you can do with your hair there. The staff speak both English and Spanish, so there is no confusion in explaining what you want done with your hair. My kids also have their hair cut there and I´ve seen them work with very small children too. They´ve got a cute little seat in the shape of a car, so that kids can "drive" while having their haircut. A great distraction!

I also can highly recommend one of the stylists who used to work at the Nueva Alcantara club, but is now on her own and makes house calls. You can call Marisa at 677 217 933 (Spanish). She can do everything from colour to keratine treatments to extensions.

I also once tried a salon in Marbella called Bellissimi. I can´t remember the name of the hairdresser, but she was French. She highlighted my hair as well as my girlfriends´ and we were both very satisfied. You can find more information about this salon at www.bellissimi-spain.com.

If you´re looking specifically for the Puerto Banus area, my sister-in-law recommends Jacques Dessange. She´s been there already a few times and keeps going back. She gets her hair cut, colored, and styled there as well as doing her manicures and pedicures at the same time.
