love to eat fan

I actually liked this place and am sad its gone... it was a bit pricey but there wasn't anywhere like it and it was nice to have a take away option of some healthy food. Having said that the owner was most unfriendly while the younger staff members were nice. They should have rewarded loyalty because once you went there you always came back but they didn't really look at the big picture...pity

Love to eat shut down!
by: Anonymous

The "Love to Eat" did shut down. Maybe the clients did not really love the mainly expensive food there - like me! Opposite you find the Polo House, that is what I recommend.

no value for money

I had a prawn baguette for €10,50, the bread tasted good but there was too much of it! I had only a few prawns and a little bit of salad. I showed the waitress all that bread, she said it was their way of doing it and I could have more salad but then I had to pay for it! I said I did not not understand it but she just walked away whilst I was talking! Nil service! Last time we have been there!

I had food poisoning from eating at this place.
The brownies were dry and it is not worth going to.

It is a surprise to find a place like this opposite the Marbella club. You feel at home. Food is beautiful. Ambience, owners and people, drinks, champagne, wines....Congratulations. we do love it and go there almost every day.

A unique find in Marbella
by: Monica

I was very happy to find Love to Eat in Marbella. The gourmet deli is something very unique in Marbella and a concept that works very well with me.

The prices are a bit steep, but considering there is nowhere else that I know of like this in town I´m ready to pay a little extra.

I like the fact that you can either take away your food or eat in their relaxed yet understatedly chic restaurant. Actually, when I eat here I never feel like I´m in Spain. So if you´re here on holiday looking for an authentically Spanish experience, this isn´t the place for you.

The service is always good, the staff is friendly, and the food is outstanding. My favorites are the variety of salads, both fresh and cooked. The Moroccan couscous salad, the chicken salad with walnuts, aubergine salad, and simple Greek are some of my favorites. I also love their homemade desserts and there is always something new when I walk in, in addition to their classics. Nearly every time, I take the carrot cake or a brownie.

All the food is displayed in a glass case so that you can see exactly what you are getting, but it makes it so hard to decide because it all looks so good. When you eat in, you don´t get a menu. You just go to the counter and point out what you would like to have and a waitress will bring it to your table.

Love to Eat also sells wines, cake decorations, some ceramics and little bits and bobs that you may not find anywhere else in Marbella. If you haven´t tried this place yet, you should at least give it a go. The only downer is that you must be ready to open your wallet. There is a premium to pay for this type of food and you may wind up ordering more than you need if your eyes are bigger than your stomach.

very good food
by: Anonymous

I can only recommend the food, the friendly staff and I find the prices reasonable for the superior quality. Unfortunately they close at 21:00.

We have very different tastes among our family and friedns and we always find something for everybody.

The previous poster seems to have an issue not related to the quality of the restaurant. As there are several love to eat restaurants on this planet and none to my knowledge have anything to do with each other. And the use of a heart icon is not very original and can hardly be considered unique...

Located across from the Marbella Club Hotel with normally easy parking, it is very convenient.

Terrible
by: Anonymous

This company also owes me a serious amount of money. While the owner continues to drive around in an expensive car and send her children to private school, she is ripping off and destroying small businesses. Please don't encourage this sort of behaviour by using this place. And the food's not even very good!

Liars & cheats

This company owes my company thousands and thousands of euros and refuses to give it to us. Even though we branded and created the heart that emblazons the store.
People like this destroy local business. It's disgraceful that the woman who owns this continues to trade.
I suggest strongly that you offer your spending support to other more reputable businesses who pay their bills and support other business people in the area.
