L'Oriental Lebanese restaurant

We really enjoyed a night out with the family and friends to L'Oriental Lebanese restaurant in the Benamara towards Estepona.

The food was great and the service was excellent. When we arrived it was a bit chilly and windy. I asked the waitress if she had a blanket for the outdoors. They didn't, but instead she gave me her own sweater! When one of the kids were cold, she brought out her jacket and gave us that too. Rightly, she was left with a nice tip.

The menu is extensive and they have all of the middle eastern classics such as hummus, tabouleh, kefta and lamb cooked a million ways. The kids absolutely loved it. We didn't see a children's menu, but didn't even think to ask. Everything was interesting for our kids and the portions were small enough that they weren't overwhelmed. Regardless, we ordered various dishes and put them all in the middle "Chinese style" to share.

This is a family-run business with authentic Lebanese cooks, and the genuine homemade Lebanese cuisine.

At the end of the evening we were entertained by a belly dancing show.

It is not difficult to find L'Oriental. You can see it on the highway (N340) on the left hand side heading West from Marbella. It is only a five minute drive from San Pedro. If heading from Marbella you will need to take the exit of Cancelada and back track East. Be careful not to pass it and try and exit the highway as early as possible.

Our family had a great time and we are happy to recommend L'Oriental.
