DUE TO BAD WEATHER THE LA VIRGINIA MARKET HAS BEEN CHANGED FOR THE 21ST OF DECEMBER. I AM SORRY BUT IT IS THE BEST DECISION FOR ALL.

POR MAL TIEMPO SE CAMBIA EL MERCADO LA VIRGINIA HASTA EL 21 DICIEMBRE. LO SIENTO TANTO PERO ES EL MEJOR DECISION.

Bellaria invites you to spend a beautiful day in La Virginia on Sunday December 4th 2011.

Every year the picturesque village of La Virginia hosts a delightful Artisan Market in which you can find wonders for this Christmas. Amongst them all, our unforgettable treats, of course!

La Virginia is located in Marbella, going up Avenida Jaime de Mora, just before the Corte Ingles opposite the copper tower called El Pirulin. Before crossing the bridge that goes over the motorway there will be a sign indicating La Virginia, to your left. The market starts at 11 am and ends at sun down.

We eagerly await you with a great selection of treats including our famous Carrot Cake, Brownies, White Chocolate and Coconut Blondies, Millionaire Shortbread, Courgette and Lime Cake, Sugar Free Brownies and Gluten Free Cakes. So you're not left wanting more, we've prepared individual portions which you can eat there AND take away.

To elaborate a bit more on this Christmas market, which takes place every year, here you can find lots of holiday gifts and treats including toys, antiques, Christmas baskets, gifts, books, clothes, chocolates, cookies, cakes, jams, ornaments, holiday cards and more.

The market is located in the La Virginia urbanization on calle de la Tienda, camino de Camoján in Marbella.

The La Virginia Christmas fair is held in urbanization La Virginia, which is just south of the AP 7 highway and north of the main street (Bulevar del Principe Alfonso von Hohenlohe) heading into Marbella. If you can get to the "piruli" (copper tower) which is next to the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos, then you take the street heading up north as if you were going to Swans primary school passing El Corte Inglés on your left. This street is called Avenida de Don Jaime de Mora y Aragón (I know, these street names are the longest I've ever seen!).

Keep heading up straight and the street turns into Camino de Camojan. Just before you cross the bridge over the highway you will see a street on your left that heads into Urbanizacion La Virginia (it should be indicated). Turn into there and there should be signs directing you to the market.

The La Virginia Christmas market 2011 is taking place this year on Sunday December 4th from 11:00am until dark, unless you have a stall where you can set up as early as 8:30am. As we find out more information about this event we´ll post it here. If anyone has anything to contribute, please don't hesitate to add a comment below.
