Kids on the Costa Magazine Seeks New Publishers

First published in 2002, Kids on the Costa is the only magazine on the Costa del Sol for parents and children and is distributed all along the coast (as well as Gibraltar and inland) 5 times a year.

First established in the UK by Vicky Ambrose in 1989 as "Primary Times" Vicky sold the magazine and its franchise network (which produces over 2.5 million copies per issue!) in 2001 and moved to Spain. She saw that there was a real need for a publication for expat parents of all nationalities that would address every aspect of raising children here.

Hence "Kids on the Costa" was born! Each issue it carries useful articles on education, children's health, activities for kids, places to visit, birthday party ideas... and much more.

The forthcoming issue (out March 1st 2011) sees the launch of a new section - "Early Days - From Pregnancy to 4, All You Need to Know and More" to yet further promote the magazine to new Mums and Dads on the coast and attract even more advertising.

"Kids on the Costa" has proved to be a real winner with both readers and advertisers. In fact, over 60% of the magazine's clients repeat their advert every issue. (Just visit the website at www.kidsonthecosta.es to read advertisers testimonials, as well as readers comments).

However, after more than 20 years in publishing, Vicky has decided that the time has come to retire and is looking to step down by the end of the year.

If you would be interested in finding out more about this exciting business opportunity and feel you have the skills to move the magazine forward to achieve even greater success, then please in the first instance email Vicky at info@kidsonthecosta.es putting Magazine in the subject line.

"Kids on the Costa" is a fully legal SL company with audited accounts etc. The sale will include all electronic files, web domain, Apple Mac computer with required software and much more.

Full training can be provided if required as well as "hand holding" for a couple of issues.

How much is the magazine going for?

I have read this ad and could be interested! But it doesn't give a price or ball park figure - is it open to bids?
